As I write this both tears of sorrow as well as tears of joy for Rev. Billy Graham. In my life time I was able to attend two of his crusades, one as a child and one as an adult! When I was growing up we always watched the Billy Graham crusades together as a family in our family room. Bless you all!
Condolences to the Graham family. May the Lord bless each of you. I had the privilege of meeting your father back in 1989 in Jax, Fla. Was an amazing time seeing so many people gathered in that stadium. The love that your father had for Christ speaks for itself. Well done you good and faithful servant.
I remember as a young girl watching his crusades on Saturday nights at my grandparents’. So powerful.
My Dr. Graham tribute is a story from the 1976 Seattle Kingdome crusade. I invited friends to come who were unsaved skeptics. They left just before Dr. Graham spoke (as did others who came to hear the music performance beforehand). They got saved a week later anyway. God uses Billy, even when gone!
My condolences goes out to the entire Graham family. I enjoyed listening to him very much. He will be greatly missed.
What a celebration of life for your family! My Mother had us watch the Crusades on T.V. growing up. They have been forever on my mind, and though I have wandered off track a time or two, I have always regained hope because of his simple message from long ago. God Bless!
Dr. Graham was instrumental in the founding of the Christian Action Council way back in 1975. This group really was the inspiration of the modern day evangelical crisis pregnancy center movement; for that I am grateful. For the past 32 years our center has seen over 5,100 trust Christ as Savior.
My life was forever changed by this man. I accepted Christ as my savior at one of his crusades. It was like he had the voice of an angel calling me to come just as I am. I will forever remember that day. He will be missed but never forget everything. Till we meet again.
God bless this family as they mourn the loss of their father and wonderful man. He brought me to Christ at the age of 12. I will never forget it.
Condolences to the family.
