Do You Know Christ?
My husband and I were saved through the ministry of Billy Graham. I was saved as a teenager watching his Crusades. My husband was saved as a 12 year old boy viewing a Crusade in his bedroom. We both served with TWR in Monte Carlo where my husband, Jim, met Mr. Graham.
Billy Graham is the first minister I heard about Jesus from since my family did not attend church. My prayers to the family.
We will never see the likeness of Billy Graham again. He cannot be replaced. I am so happy that he is now with God and his beloved Ruth, and enjoying the everlasting life he spoke about for so many years and led many thousands to. Rest in peace, fine servant of the Almighty God.
I never had the chance to meet Billy, but I truly wish I had. Billy was a great follower and leader, always leading people to Christ Jesus our Lord. I send you my condolences. Billy will be greatly missed and greatly remembered. He has been such a blessing in my life and the lives of so very, very many.
As a young girl growing up, I would sit between my parents and watch Billy Graham on TV. Each time both my parents would cry with joy seeing souls given to the Lord. To this day I have given my own life to Jesus, and Billy Graham helped me find my way.
I have always admired listening to Dr. Billy Graham. I remember watching and listeniing to him ever since my teenage years. His sermons were such an inspiration to me. When I heard he was coming on, I prepared myself so I could be in front of the TV listening. The powerful messages will be remembered.
Sorry to hear of your loss. But like Paul said, to die is gain. Your father gained more than what we have. He is in the loving arms of Jesus. Praise the Lord.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. What a day it was when your dad saw the face of Jesus. We can only imagine but we will experience the same when we get to Heaven. I thoroughly enjoyed his concerts and reading his books.
I started watching Billy Graham as a young tot on TV. We never missed his Crusades. I grew up with him, Fulton Sheen and others who gave me a solid base for my beliefs. We need desperately to go back to that lifestyle. God bless and comfort you, and God bless America. I am sorry for your loss.
