Growing up in a Christian home, Billy Graham was my parents’ favorite evangelist. We rarely missed his televised crusades. I can say without a doubt that the song “Just As I Am” became special to me because of Billy Graham. There is a wonderful celebration taking place in heaven today.
I have watched Reverend Graham on TV since I was a young girl and read a number of his books. Today my heart is saddened by our loss as a nation and the world that sought to hear the love of God and salvation offered through Jesus Christ, His Son, given in sermons through the voice of such a man.
Mr. Graham’s life and example has encouraged me as a believer in Christ to be salt and light wherever I am, whatever I may be doing.
You were America’s preacher and the world’s evangelist who reached more than 250 million people in countries one can’t even go into today. We honor you and we know you ran your race well. There is even more rejoicing in heaven today for the legacy you’ve left my family and me, and we are grateful.
My heart is sad that Rev. Graham has passed, but I’m happy that now he is with his beloved Ruth. His sermons always touched my heart.
The world has lost a great man, but we all know he is with the Lord now. To the family: So sorry for your loss. God bless you.
I, Calvin James Hendry, have accepted the sacrifice of Jesus, the Son of God the Father, to take away all my sins by shedding His blood. Amen. God bless
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
Thank you for your lifelong devotion as God’s servant and mouth piece. You have made an impact in this world. Everlasting life with God our Father has began for you. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Billy Graham had a tremendous impact on my family. As a small child in the 50’s, we would gather around the black and white TV to watch his programs. His sermons and books have brought us such great comfort and hope. Like the rest of the world, we will so miss him. Today God welcomes His beloved.
