Do You Know Christ?
I was in my senior year of high school, 1953, when our youth leaders took us to a Tampa Stadium to hear Mr. Graham. Many years later, I heard him at an Orlando Crusade, having driven the church bus to the stadium. Mary C. Crowley introduced me to him, Ruth and Gigi in the ’80s. What a blessing!
I want to say I am sorry he has left us but we shall see you when we go home. I loved your messages and I want to thank you for your great services. I send my prayers to your family.
My mother raised us to love the Lord And we loved Brother Graham! We have spent many hours listening to him preach. My mother was blind but is rejoicing in heaven now!
In Gaither Chapel, as a student, heard Billy Graham speak of his travels, several times. He said that whenever he came back from his world travels, his wife would kiss his cheek and remind him to “take out the trash.” He credits Ruth with keeping him “grounded.” What a great pair they were!
Jubilation and joy are what my angels sing, since you’ve joined the circle of your savior and king. Well done ye faithful fruit of mine! The seeds you sowed on earth were straight from my heart, my love for you I will never depart.
Thank you for giving to the Lord. We are lives that are changed! You are home…face to face with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Dancing on the streets of gold! Praying for the family…we love you all!
I remember your smile and kindness, but most of all the fire of a Godly man. Your fierce but gentle kindness pointing the way to Christ. It will never be gone because Brother Graham, I see it in the eyes of your children…the greatest gift of knowing Jesus Christ. Thank you.
My first meeting to see Billy Graham was in approx. 1980. His message impacted my heart and approx. 25 years later, I had the privilege to be a counselor at his crusade again in Indianapolis. His faithful service and simple message of salvation has always been an inspiration for me to stay the course.
It’s because of Billy Graham and other God loving individuals that I have given my life to God and have become born again! He was an incredible man of God and I loved listening to him speak of our awesome Lord and Savior!
Rev. Graham and his family have been courageous leaders, teachers, and role models within the Christian community and the secular world. Their lives, writing and speaking abilities, and library in Charlotte have been used to enact the kingdom of God here on earth. The Lord bless you and keep you.
