Do You Know Christ?
Rev. Graham meant very much to me personally and exemplified the relationship with Jesus Christ and his fellow man that we should all aspire to have. I am sad because I will miss him and I miss him because I loved him. I never met Billy Graham here on Earth, but because of Jesus, I will in Heaven.
God has taken one of the greatest preachers home with him. I pray for your family at this time, that He will comfort each and every one of you. I am very happy that Rev. Franklin is walking in his father’s footsteps and teaching us what his father taught. God bless all of you. Deepest sympathy.
Billy Graham has always been a household name in my family. His work has been instrumental. I know he has touched the lives of many people including myself. Thank you for your service to God, and to the people of the world! I have no doubt you have reached your heavenly home!
Thoughts and prayers to the family. Was listening to a Christian radio station yesterday and a listener made a reference to the 99 and 1. He mentioned that Billy Graham was 99 years old and has now met the most important “1.” God bless!
As the whole world mourns for your loss, my prayers are with you also in this painful time. May the Lord comfort you. Dr. Graham’s legacy will be forever remembered, and his message of hope will echo through the times. Though deeply saddened by the loss, he ran the race and gained victory in Christ.
I am very sorry for your loss. Billy Graham was a big influence in our house growing up. We tried to see him when I was 8 years old in Orlando with my siblings and my Auntie Callie and her two daughters. Our car broke down, and we never made it. A police officer took us to a pit stop.
As child I was always bored by my mum’s obsession with Billy Graham’s broadcasts. It seemed a waste of TV time. But as I grew older I was drawn to Christian movies, captivated by the character’s struggles that eventually were drawn to Christ because of this man’s ministry. Rest with the angels!
My condolences and prayers go out to your amazing family and all the people involved in his ministry. I was blessed to be at two Billy Graham crusades in Ca. back in the 70s, and my life was forever changed. He was the most humble, fearless man of God I have ever heard speak.
Because of Billy Graham I am saved today. One night he asked if anyone at home wanted to be saved, stand up beside the TV and repeat after him, you will be saved. I did and I am. That was in 1980. I have been faithfully serving the Lord ever since. Thank you Pastor Billy Graham. Heaven is rejoicing.
Dr. Graham was indeed a man used of God. His humility and simplicity magnified the Lord in his life. There is no other evangelist like him. I watched the crusades as a young boy and listened intently to the message. My family is praying for yours during this time of loss. God bless you.
