I went to a Billy Graham crusade in Cleveland, Ohio at age 18 when my father brought our family to an event. I was a very shy girl, but felt compelled to go down and publicly receive Christ. ( I was a confirmed member of the Lutheran Missouri Synod Church at the time ) God has blessed our family.
I sent you the lyrics to “This Old House” by Stuart Hamlin. I also remember George Beverly Shea. I honor my folks in this regard.
He was a special gift to our country and the world. I’m so thankful for his ministry and his faithfulness to Christ. Rest In Peace Rev. Graham; you were a good and faithful servant. ❤️
I first attended a Billy Graham crusade in Charlotte, NC when I was about 12. I went forward to “be sure” of my salvation. I was able to attend 2 more crusades, one in Charlotte and one in Pittsburgh. Billy Graham and his family have had a profound effect on me. Thanks be to God for all He has done.
Death cannot dim the bright light that was his through Jesus Christ. May we allow it to illuminate His Way, even now! In Christian sympathy.
We rejoice with heaven. My life was blessed by your commitment to Christ.
When my daughter was just 3 years old, I was watching a crusade on tv. The invitation was given; people went forward. She asked what they were doing. I told her, and she asked if she could also. We knelt and she invited Him into her heart. She’s 36 now. Well done Rev. Graham. RIP!
This is just an expression of gratitude for Dr. Graham’s televised message in 1971 or 1972 when my Mom gave her life to Jesus Christ because of his sermon. I walked downstairs in our 2-story home to find Mom on her knees, praying to receive the Lord Jesus in her life. Thankful to God!
I’ve been hearing about Billy Graham since from long time that he’s a great preacher all over the world and his ministry is travelling through many parts of the world. I’m from India. I’m really amazed by his preaching and his work towards God. Really an inspiration to every age group. Thank you sir.
We Lost the great man of God. Though we cannot see him anymore on earth, we hall meet him with God in Heaven one day. Happy are those who died in the Lord. I believe he will be crowned for the good work he did for God. My condolence message to the family.
