Mr. Graham has been a great inspiration to me since I was a young boy. Deepest sympathy to the Graham family. Thank the Lord for this man of God!
I have watched and listened to Billy Graham practically all my life. I am 84 and received Christ into my heart at the age of 15 when I realized I was a sinner and needed to be saved. I am sure I will meet Mr. Graham in heaven some day. Precious is the death of His saints in the sight of the Lord.
When I had just been saved at 16, My pastor took a group from our church in Asheboro NC to Dr. Billy Graham’s big tent meeting in Greensboro, NC in 1951. Since that time I have listened, looked and read anything I could from him…I am now 83 1/2 years old and he is the last and most loved and admired.
Yesterday morning, when I learned that Billy Graham went home, I felt a profound loss. I told God, if He needed someone to take up the torch, He was welcome to use my family – He had my teenage son give a testimony at his youth group last night that told of God’s power and invited others to God.
I remember as a young child watching Rev. Graham on TV. I gave my life to Christ right there in our family room. I have followed him and his life. I am deeply saddened by the loss of one of the few men I truly admired. I know he is in heaven today praising Jesus.
My parents never missed a Billy Graham Crusade on TV. Later, I made sure to be at my mother’s home to watch the Crusade with her. She had a deep faith and held Rev. Graham in high regard. My deep sympathy to his family, but he is where he wanted to be and oh, what a celebration! Sincerely, Sandi
My heart grieves as if I have lost a family member. He has been an inspiration ALL of my life but most especially these last couple of years when I knew that our nation was headed in the wrong direction. His ministry through social media and Decision have encouraged me. Love, Dalia Trevino
I was honored to be a counselor at one of Billy’s crusades in Dallas, Texas. I saw so many come to Christ, I shed tears of joy. As soon as Billy crossed from this life into heaven, he heard those words, “Well done good and faithful servant.”
So very thankful for this man that never lost the central focus of God’s message or waivered in his faith. Grieving the earthly loss of him and celebrating his move to heaven. Praying for God’s love, peace, and encouragement to enfold those whom he held near and dear.
I watched Dr. Graham on TV many times. Also live a couple times. Yesterday I kept reading what he had said about his last breath on earth would be his first breath in heaven. Very comforting to read when you have lost loved ones recently. Sympathy for family in their great loss. Heaven’s gain!
