My heartfelt prayers are with the Graham family as they say goodbye to this great man of God. What a wonderful family started through this man and his beautiful wife, Ruth. God bless you and thank you for all you do and have done down through the ages to preach God’s Gospel to a lost world.
I am so thankful that Billy Graham stepped out and made those movies back in the 70’s and 80’s, and maybe earlier. I often remember my parents taking me. It was the first time I’d seen what it really meant to, “Go into all the world…” I am grateful to his ministry for being a tool in my life.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. We grieve not as the world does, but I know you will all miss him. Rejoicing that Rev. Graham has finished his race and has heard “well done, good and faithful servant.” His influence will be missed, but he has left a godly heritage.
I first understood his message of salvation at a young 20 years of age. His message gave me hope at a time when I felt lost, and at times when I have felt like dying. The message he brought opened my eyes to a better life in Christ Jesus. I have never lost that hope since.
I am now 77 years old, but as a teenager, I went to a Billy Graham meeting in Buffalo, NY. I went forward and was saved. I have never regretted it. I always believed in our Saviour as I was raised by a wonderful mother who also believed in God.
God’s peace & comfort to you. Rev. Graham has inspired & encouraged me, along with countless millions, to stay steady in trusting & believing my Savior, Jesus Christ, to the glory of God, our Father, and the Word of God as eternal truth. I cannot imagine his welcome home!
I attended the Crusade at the Seattle World’s Fair on 7/8/62. I was 15 and a young Christian. He has always inspired me even when I had wandered off of the path God had for me. I know he is with our Father in Heaven. My prayers go up for all your family as well as for Samaritan’s Purse.
Reverend, I know that no one here on earth is perfect. But you Reverend were a great example to all of us of God’s love, mercy, grace & forgiveness. Thank you for being Jesus’ hands and feet to countless people. Thank you for the example you were to so many pastors. Thank you for the legacy you left.
Throughout my tumultuous life and wobbly walk with the Lord, Billy Graham has always been there, like a lighthouse on a hill, shining the Light of Christ to help us all find our way.
I can remember watching Billy Graham each time he was on TV with my parents many years ago. I’m thankful for the message he shared pointing people to Christ through repentance and belief.
