As a young person watching his crusade on television God spoke to me through Mr. Graham’s word that I needed to repent and accept Him as my savior. What a wonderful thing to do & how it changed My life. He was a blessing God sent to bring people to Him. Thank you Graham family.
My family moved to Florida in 1964 so that my father could attend Trinity Bible College. I remember him telling me when we got there, that this was the Bible school that Billy Graham went to. Well, it was one of them, and even at the age of 11, I knew who he was talking about.
When I was a teenager my mom and I would watch the crusades on TV. Later, my husband and I served in the Nov. 2000 Jacksonville, FL Crusade. I always felt in awe of Billy Graham and his special anointing by God to be a mighty ambassador for Christ. He has impacted my life greatly.
We all feel a sense of loss to no longer have your beloved patriarch here with us. It is a blessing to know he is at peace with the Lord. I will always remember seeing him preach. I am one that he touched with the Word.
I was thrilled to have the opportunity to be a counselor at Mr. Graham’s service in Charlotte in the mid-1990s. A true man of God!
Matthew 8:11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. God bless Billy Graham, I have watched, admired and loved him all my life. This verse, is the promise for us all!
When Mr. Graham came to the Bay Area the last time, I went to the crusades in San Jose (my home), San Francisco, and Oakland. My most impactful memory was when he lowered his head to pray for our city. I also appreciated Mrs. Graham’s book, “Legacy of A Pack Rat.” Powerful. Lord bless you all!
I saw Reverend Graham in Louisville, Kentucky in 1964 when I was 9 years old. We stood in the aisle because there were no seats available. My brother placed me on his shoulders so I could see this great man of God. I have carried that wonderful memory with me for 54 years.
Heaven’s gain, the world has lost.
It is with heartfelt sympathy as I express my admiration for the late Evangelist Billy Graham. An “Ambassador” who preached the Gospel to all the world. Saving souls according to God’s word! I shall never forget, the Lord blessed me to attend the crusade in 1994 in the Atlanta GA Dome. A blessing!
