As a child, I watched the Crusades on TV. I had two sisters, but we wanted a brother. When our brother was born, we girls named him Billy (after Mr. Graham). After all these decades, Mr. Graham’s message still stands: salvation through faith, alone. May his legacy continue to convey that truth.
Rev. Graham has meant the world to me. I grew up watching his crusades as a child with my parents for many years. His preaching has brought me a better understanding about the Bible and also Jesus Christ. My prayers are with his family. Rev. Graham will be missed!
My life changed forever when I watched Reverend Dr. Graham on television in 1974 as he led a revival. I knelt down at my couch with my 5 year old daughter as we both received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of our lives. I volunteered twice when he came to Denver for Revival. I respected him so!
To the Graham family, May God hold ya’ll in the palm of His hand and be all that His word says He is to the family during this difficult time. Heaven is a sweeter place with your dad there. I wish I had met him, he will be missed. Thanks Rev. Graham, I loved you.
My prayers for all your family, my brother Billy. I know you’re enjoying now with our Lord Jesus. Love you Billy. ❤️
After the first gulf war I heard the gospel at my local Calvary Chapel. My first opportunity to serve at a BIG Christian function was prayer counselor training for the 1998 Billy Graham Crusade in Tampa FL. I saw 2 of my friends come forward and I was their prayer counselor. Praise the Lord!
Thank you Mr. graham for running the race. As a little girl I’d watch you. Then I read about you as a father and friend and I felt like I knew you personally. Through your family I have learned more. I will miss knowing you are on this planet. It felt safe knowing you were still here. Rest in peace.
It’s difficult to lose one parent and now both are HOME. What promises from the LORD that we too will join them, maybe soon. Fond memories of the 80’s Crusade in Oakland Ca. Privileged to pray with others who received Christ. I vividly remember stepping on Holy Ground. To God be the glory.
Truly, a Saint and saw him as a kid with folks at Fort Jackson, then, at USC Stadium back in 85(?). The Joy of the Lord was seen in him! God Bless the family! Totally believe soon we’ll all be together!
I will be eternally grateful to the Lord Jesus Christ for His messenger, Billy Graham. In June of 1972 I gave my life to Christ while watching a crusade on TV. Thank you Billy Graham for all you did for the Lord.
