I attended a Billy Graham sponsored movie in 1973, “ A Time to Run” when I was 11 years old. At the conclusion I accepted the invitation and dedicated my life to Christ. I started receiving the Decision magazine and 45 years later I am still receiving it as a gift from my parents.
In 1958 when I was 6 years I heard Rev BG’s Crusade on TV. Quietly I went to my room & prayed asking God to forgive my sins. That laid the foundation for the rest of my life. When life has been hard, I remember that day that God called me in love as a small child. Thank you God for sending Rev. BG.
I learned that God was not the big mean guy in the sky who wanted to kill me…but a loving Father who wanted me.
I met Billy Graham in London UK ca ’49 at my parents’s home. My father, Alan Redpath had Billy, along with 3 others on his Team to plan a London Crusade. Alan set up a Team, and the Crusade took place in 1952. As a 9 year old, it was the first time I had heard American accents!
Gracia, paz y gozo departe de Jesucristo el rey, de Díos Padre y la Iglesia. Gracias por ser fieles en cumplir la gran comision. Estamos con uds.
My mother accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior while watching a TV program of Billy Graham in 1954. She was killed in an car accident in May of 1955. I was 6 and my brother was 8. I don’t believe either of us would today know Jesus as our Lord without her prayers at God’s throne for us.
I met Billy G. during his Crusade in Argentina in 1962 (?). I drove him between one city and another. When he and I said goodbye, I shall never forget his piercing eyes as he shook my hand. This man had the Holy Spirit living in him. I have never forgotten that moment. “He ran the race…and finished well.”
I never met Billy Graham but I enjoyed listening and reading his books. He inspired me to be a better person. For a very long time I was not a nice person. The Lord has shown me in many ways that when I follow him , he will take care of me. Billy Graham is an inspiration to all of us.
My grandma came to Christ at the Madison Sq Garden Crusade in 1957. That impacted our whole family by most coming to Christ as a result of her testimony of faith. I am eternally grateful to Bro Graham for his heeding the Holy Spirit’s leading to extend that meeting week after week. Thank you so much.
I was born in Lancaster, S.C. in 1949 and graduated high school in Charlotte. I don’t think I ever missed a television broadcast of Billy Graham.
