My prayers are with the Graham family.
Since my parents both worked at the BGEA headquarters in Minneapolis starting in 1963 and my first full-time job was there, I grew up with BG. The limitations of this page mean I cannot share my 5-year-old’s experience meeting Billy, but I think I was a substitute for the time he was not with his kids.
I am so sorry for your loss. He was a good man. I just recommitted my life to Christ and I am doing his online courses. I thank God for Mr. Graham.
Billy impacted my Catholic family as my parents always watched Billy Graham crusades and they loved Jesus. One time their old arthritic sheep dog heard Billy give the altar call and he got up from his bed and walked up to the TV and pressed his nose against the screen. Now Billy can meet Ruff!
Condolences
Thanks to my parents, I met Billy Graham through his televised crusades. He was a rock of Christian faith and someone who stayed true to the core message of the Gospel. Along with Mother Theresa, they are 2 disciples of Christ who spoke & lived the Gospel. Thank you. I hope to meet him in heaven.
I know that many people were brought to the Lord by Billy Graham being on TV for I was one along with my parents. Struggling with our various problems he showed us the light in Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for him helping me start my Faith in God that has grown these 30 years.
Because of this great man, Billy Graham, I am saved. I will meet him in heaven one day.
It was my honor to sing in the Crusade he preached here in San Antonio at the Alamodome in 1997. My son, age 13, gave his heart to the Lord. What a legacy. I will always remember Billy Graham. You planted Jesus in many hearts. Rest in peace. I will see you again. My condolences to the Graham family.
God bless you, Billy. The Lord used you mightily to soften the hardest hearts of the strong, tough men in my life—my grandfather, father and husband.
