  1. Kristy Summers

I went to one of Reverend Billy Graham’s crusades when I was living in AR and my boys were younger. It was an unforgettable experience. My boys went up after the show like many did. I went with them. We definitely felt the Holy Spirit that day through him. I think it was the late 80s.

  2. Caroline Roper-Deyo

At 13 I had decided I was too smart to be a Christian. However, at 23 I humored my mother by taking her to a Crusade in Norfolk, Virginia. While there I did not go forward but when I went home I couldn’t stop thinking about Billy’s message, eventually deciding to be a disciple of Jesus. Praise the Lord.

  3. Jeanette Barnes-Bailey

As a child growing up in Pennsylvania I recall my family watching the crusades on TV. The message was simple and strong, “Jesus loves you” – At the age of 52 I was born again, attended Bible College, majoring in World Missions. I am now 83, still inspired by Dr. Graham’s simple message.

  4. Paul Adamson

I just want to take a minute to thank Billy Graham. Without him I would not be here today. When my father was in his 20’s he went to a Billy Graham meeting in New York. That day changed his life forever. He became a new man in Christ.

  5. Dane Fulmer

Approx 55 years ago, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at War Memorial stadium, Billy came and presented to a crowd that was probably 10% of the population of Little Rock (at the time) the simplest message I had ever heard…that Jesus Christ was the Savior and that he loved me and would forgive me of my sins.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Graham family as they lay to rest their father, grandfather and friend. We pray that God will give you strength, comfort and peace at this difficult time. To us he is the greatest Christian preacher of all time. May he rest in peace.

  7. Ruth Andersen

I met Billy Graham at the age of about 7 or 8 when he held a meeting in the Teaneck Armory in Teaneck, NJ. (1953?) I actually got his autograph and those of Leighton Ford and Cliff Barrows! I attended many of his crusades in NYC and was a counselor in the one in Shea Stadium. What a man of God!!

  8. Judy Albus

Dear family of Billy Graham, My mother often had Decision magazine. I would read through it. My first memories of knowing a little bit about Reverend Graham. We watched crusades as a family on TV, then I attended a crusade in San Antonio in the early 70’s! Thank-you all for giving to our Mighty God!

  9. Michael W Drye

I grew up in Charlotte. My folks took us to see Billy Graham at a 1957 crusade at the coliseum on Independence Blvd. He made an impact on me even at age 6. My wife & I met Dr. Graham & Ruth at the Black Mountain Chamber of Commerce Christmas dinner in 1981. We sat at his table. He was very humble and Christlike.

  10. Ted Elmore

I met Mr. Graham 2 times, attended 3 crusades, 1 School of Evangelism, 2 Amsterdam Conferences (‘86 & 2000). One of his closest associates in Montreat became a personal friend and mentor. Mr. Graham impacted me significantly in that he was a model for integrity, focus on the Gospel and prayer.
