God has used the life and ministry of Billy Graham to impact the lives of millions around the world. Perhaps you have a testimony about Mr. Graham’s ministry.
What did Mr. Graham mean to you? We invite you to share your stories and remembrances or express your condolences to the family here.
Growing up in the 60s I was “forced” to watch Rev Billy Graham EVERY time he came on TV. I would be having the best time playing when I would hear my Mom: “Billy Graham is on TV. You get here right this minute!!” I thought it would kill me. As an adult I would have given anything to have met him!
Sleep in peace, Rev.
All my best wishes to the extended Graham family. My personal connection with Billy Graham has come only in the last year or two through the app on my iPad – now today and for this recent time like lots of people I have been overcome by the simple message of Jesus through the cross. Thanks, Billy.
I asked Jesus Christ into my heart at a Billy Graham movie event. I think it was called “For Pete’s Sake.” I had just turned 16 years old. I felt so good; I thought no harm could ever happen to me again. Unfortunately, not long afterwards that feeling was taken away. But Jesus was there.
We send condolences to the family of the late Dr. Billy Graham. He was a preacher of integrity and very influential in the life of our pastor. It was once said that God wasn’t saving or using black people. But Dr. Billy Graham made the Gospel available to all people. Thank God for his life.
My father, Ed Nelson, did a movie, A Time to Run. I went to the premiere. I met Mr. Graham. I will never forgot his big, gentle handshake and his humility.
I never met Billy Graham, and I never went to see any of his Crusades in person. Still, Billy Graham deeply impacted my life! I have watched many of his broadcasts, both on TV and on the internet. I also read his tremendous book, Peace With God. He was the greatest evangelist of the 20th Century.
I met Dr. Graham during a layover at Atlanta airport…highlight of my life. He stood when I approached and introduced myself. He was so gracious and first said, “Are you a Christian?” After I told him “yes,” this world-famous, renowned man asked me to sit with him while we waited.
I give thanks to God for Billy Graham. I became a Christian in 1955 at Wembley Stadium in London while singing in the choir! Since then the Lord has led us to Australia where I worked with Crusaders, a Christian youth organization, and later was ordained to the Christian ministry. PTL
I am rejoicing with you that your beloved patriarch is now sharing in the heavenly glory beautifully described by Anne in her book Glory. The impact of your father’s life through evangelism is immeasurable but your family’s legacy shared through the written word is also precious and lasting.
