I remember when I was 19 years old I read Billy Graham’s biography “Just As I Am,” and I remember reading how he used to preach to the rocks. It always amazes me how God used him in such an amazing way from such a humble beginning. Thank you, Billy Graham.
Where do I start? I watched and listened to Mr. Graham as a young adult and never did I have a dry eye. I am a born-again Christian, and his messages always renewed my faith. I loved listening to him and watching him. His impact is unmeasurable to me and many others, I’m sure.
I was a new convert to Christ & student at Dallas Baptist College in 1971 and met Dr. Graham. An awesome experience. A man of God.
Billy Graham was just a very young man when I first heard him on the radio. My grandmother and I listened and prayed with him all the time as she lived with us. We loved him.
My husband and I had the privilege of singing in the choir at a Crusade in New York City many years ago. What a joy to hear the Gospel preached and to see countless lives touched for Jesus. Thank you, Lord, for Billy and his family for boldly proclaiming the Gospel today!
May God lovingly watch over the family of this true man of God. I came to know Christ some 70 years ago, and since then I have been richly blessed by passionate messages and the older sermons I watch on TV. What a blessing he was to the world! Thanks for continuing his work.
My wife, Rebecca, and I will be forever grateful for the lasting memories of the ministry of Billy Graham. Regardless if his messages were shared with a small gathering or unimaginable numbers through the airwaves, I always felt that message was personally meant for me. He spoke the Truth from his heart!
One night I took my friend to a stadium in NY to hear Billy Graham’s message. She accepted the Lord that night and went to Bible School with me. Later she went to Iceland as a missionary, and I to Papua New Guinea with Wycliffe Bible Trans. I never stopped praying for BG; now my prayers are with Franklin.
Welcome to paradise, Billy Graham! What a blessing to have had you and your messages in my lifetime. You will be sorely missed, but, my, how the Saints are rejoicing.
As an extra in the movie “Billy,” I worked all night with a large crew to film gospel tent meeting. Never was an inappropriate word uttered.
