  1. Don Demas

While I was a student at Indiana University in 1960, Billy Graham spoke on campus. His analogy and explanation of how Jesus paid the penalty for my sins spoke to my heart. I realized at that moment the deep debt of gratitude I owed Him. My life was changed forever.

  2. Vicky Satterfield

I remember as a child, every time Billy Graham was on TV, all of us kids had to sit down with our parents and watch. I’m glad we did! As an adult, I now volunteer with the Billy Graham ministry. Thanks for the boldness to preach God’s Word to all. You were a good and faithful servant!

  3. Lois Bitler

I loved Billy Graham. I believe I watched every crusade when televised on TV in New York. My father said he was a good, gospel preacher. He was gifted and sent by God to preach the good news to the whole world.

  4. Shirley Lesher

I considered Billy Graham a light in this dark world. The light has gone out, but his message remains. It’s now up to us who took this message to return to the Lord Jesus Christ to be our light. Say hello to Jesus for me, Billy.

  5. Chris Harper

I remember watching Mr. Graham as a little girl in my grandmother’s living room. She was a believer, a true follower of Christ and never missed an opportunity to watch Rev. Graham on television. I thank God for his work on this earth and am so happy he is home with his Father.

  6. Karen Elliott

When I was around 10 years old, I was watching Billy Graham preach and wanted to call the 1-800 number provided. I was afraid to ask to use the phone, so I suffered in silence. I loved Billy Graham for his faithfulness in serving God and for delivering Christ’s message to me.

  7. Joyce Westfall

When I became a new Christian, his book “Peace With God” was the first book I read, and it was truth and light for me. I was at a Crusade in Texas, and when he walked out on the platform all the atmosphere changed. I was in awe as the spirit of a patriarch filled the room.

  8. Allison Pike

In my late 20s, I was living in my parents’ basement with no interest in church and no understanding of Jesus. Alone and bored, I watched a TV Crusade. Billy talked about a means for changing your life. I felt silly, but I asked for Jesus that night. Nothing changed then, but change did come!
