I will never forget, when I was a very young boy in the early 60’s, I received a AM Radio Kit for Christmas. After putting this kit together, the one station that I could get on that little radio – broadcast loud & clear – was Billy Graham. Thank you for the wonderful & uplifting messages.
My dad was not a church-going man; however, he liked listening to Billy Graham. I think it was because Mr. Graham was humble man. In addition, Mr, Graham always made it very clear that he was preaching the word of God – – his messages were laced with the phrase, “The Bible says…”
At 61 years old, this is the first time upon hearing of someone passing on I had a deep warm feeling come over me as I smiled and thought this is well with my soul. Billy, I’m sure, heard this morning, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Blessing to you all as you celebrate his life and service.
Mixture of sadness & joy for our dear brother in Christ, Billy Graham. Many fond memories of watching crusades with my family. Billy touched all our lives, especially bringing comfort in the days after Sept 11th. Truly America’s pastor and I look forward to meeting him in person, in Heaven. Praying!
I thank God for his servant Billy Graham. He was a great man of God. I read his books while I was a child. I will never forget what he was for me. Sincere condolences to all the whole family – I am praying for you. We will certainly see him when we join our Savior Jesus Christ.
God blessed him his entire life and the world will miss him dearly. Fly high, my friend.
My deepest sympathy to the Graham family on the loss of Dr. Graham. He has been such an inspiration to so many across the world including me. I remember watching his crusades on TV as a child. His words and the songs still ring in my head. Earth has lost a leader; heaven gained a servant of God.
I rededicated my life at Billy’s tent meeting in Madison, WI in the early 60’s. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for choosing Billy to reach the world. Well done, RIP.
I remember when I went to the Billy Graham crusade at Three Rivers Stadium. That is where I met Christ. May God comfort you during this very difficult time.
Our loss is Heaven’s gain. Prayers for comfort and peace to all the family. Your loved one was a great, godly man and will be missed.
