I remember watching Dr. Graham on TV since I was very little. God bless you, sir, and rest in peace. The world is truly a better place for you having walked among us and preached God’s Word. Rest in the peace of the Lord.
I accepted Jesus at a very young age while watching a Billy Graham Crusade.
Just after the birth of my first child in 1967, I watched a TV broadcast of one of Dr. Graham’s Crusades. I had gone to church all of my life but realized then for the first time my need for a personal relationship with Christ.
He was a humble preacher of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I heard him preach his last sermon in Oklahoma City and sang in the choir. It was powerful! See you in heaven!
In 1979, at the age of 9, my mother and aunt took me to a Billy Graham Crusade in Phoenix, Arizona. I was so moved by his message and the Holy Spirit that I told my mom I wanted to go forward. There with Rev. Graham, I gave my life to Jesus. Evangelist Graham will always hold a special place in my heart.
My mother watched Billy Graham on TV in the 1960’s and 1970’s. I grew up with Billy Graham. Even as a small child, I felt he preached sincerely and honestly. I am 58 now, and am so saddened at his passing. He truly was a gift from God.
I’m just so glad that I lived on this earth while Billy Graham was here. He was a true disciple. I am sure he has heard the words, “Well done, thy good and faithful servant.”
Mr. Bill Graham was a great, kind, faithful, spiritual and true image of our Lord Jesus Christ. God bless his soul and rest in peace.
I was only 7 years old at the Los Angeles meeting. I accepted Christ there and have lived for him ever since.
I went when he came to Nashville in the 2000’s. I would love to somehow attain footage of those nights and his sermons. I’m so glad I went, though at the time I didn’t realize the significance of the person he was or the message I was meant to hear. He was an example of what we all should be as Christians.
