My deepest sympathies go to the family of Reverend Billy Graham. He was truly an inspiration to all who heard him preach. I, as an African American woman, especially honor the way Rev. Graham took a stance against racism and segregation. “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Thank you so much for the powerful way you preached the word of God. Your crusade at Flushing Meadows Corona Park New York, during the summer of 2005, was memorable.
I met Billy Graham at the Tokyo Crusade in 1956 when serving with the 3rd Marine Division. I climbed a flight of rear stairs going into the arena because the crowds in front were too large. Billy was at the top of the stairs by himself praying. He took me in and got me a front row seat.
I watch Billy Graham at home because my parents did. I gave my life to Jesus when I was 11 years old. I did leave the church for a long while. But I always saw old Billy Graham specials and I came back, and now the Operation Christmas Child is my way to give back and two times a year give to where most needed.
Thank you Billy Graham for giving to the Lord Jesus Christ. I can only imagine the rejoicing in Heaven right now over your homecoming. Thank You Jesus.
During one of Dr. Graham’s crusades I gave my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. All my life when he was televised, I watched and renewed my commitment to the Lord. My prayer is that his son Franklin will continue to be a beacon of Light to the world.
I went to a Billy Graham Crusade in Sydney, Australia in 1979. I made a commitment for Jesus and my life turned around. I am so sad Billy has passed away, but knowing he’s with the Lord is so very wonderful. I became a missionary/Bible teacher (still am) and constantly use his messages in class. Thank you.
In the early 1970s, my parents took me to see Reverend Graham in Kansas City at the beautiful Royals Stadium. It was a wonderful experience and though I didn’t accept the Lord that day, I did in a service a few years later. It was your dad that reminded me you can’t walk alone without God in your life.
Rev. Graham is one of those irreplaceable souls who will be deeply missed. He inspired others to rise up and be better and more courageous, so that we might be even a fraction of what he was to the world. God bless his family and his legacy.
I barely remember a time in my life when Billy Graham wasn’t part of all I knew. As a very small girl, I sat in front of our TV watching the Crusades with my parents. Later I saw him preach for the first time in my hometown of Greenville, South Carolina. He was always a blessing to our family. I miss him so already. ???❤️
