  1. Erik Danam

In 1963 I lived in Los Angeles. I was 13, in a gang and getting into quite a bit of trouble. My mother made me go to the Billy Graham crusade held in Los Angeles. I was so touched by Billy Graham’s message that I quit the gang and straightened out my life.

  2. Jacquelyn Wilder

As a teenager when I saw Billy in New York’s MSG, I remember his powerful message of Jesus but another thing that touched my heart was Ethel Waters singing “His eye is on the Sparrow.” I still get emotional when I remember this blessed experience. We were Blessed to see Billy more than once.

  3. Cindy Miller

Although I was already a young Christian when I participated in the 1957 Madison Square Garden Crusade in New York City, Billy Graham’s simple, but incredibly powerful, presentation of the gospel cemented my faith in a difficult time, as did singing with the choir led by Cliff Barrows.

  4. Brenda Walls

I was forever changed at the age of 9 as Billy Graham was speaking in Fresno, CA in 1962 at Bulldog Stadium. I was a shy little girl not wanting to stand out. Billy Graham said God loves you and Jesus died for your sins. God spoke directly to my heart; I knew He was real. Billy Graham; my Hero!

  5. Kathy Lundberg

Watched his crusades on television for years. Thank you Billy Graham for being consistent in all areas of your life. Special memory was when a neighbor who had come from Cuba came to Christ after watching a crusade on TV with my family. We have a handful of your books. Thanks for giving to the Lord!

  6. Willie Webb

I listened to the Billy Graham messages and crusades in the 1950’s and attended the 1957 Crusade in Madison Square Garden in New York City in 1957. I witnessed thousands of people make their decisions for Christ during that summer long Crusade. He is a blessing to the world.

  7. Phyllis Rose

I trusted the Lord in 1945 in Billy Graham’s revival meeting in the First Baptist Church, Charlotte, North Carolina. My husband was the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, New York City in 1989-1994 and during that time Dr. Graham came to New York and held a meeting in Central Park.

  8. Doug Christensen

I give praise and thanks to God for the life and ministry of Billy Graham. He impacted my life and the lives of millions of others. I attended three of his crusades, including the last one in New York City. God graciously brought salvation and new life to millions throughout the world. Praise God!

  9. Lorelei Garrett

The last time I was at the Billy Graham Library I watched video clips of Mr. Graham talking to Woody Allen and Phil Donohue. I came away thinking, “That’s what it means to be a winsome Christian.” I have tried to follow his example when dealing with people who disagree with Christian teachings.

  10. Patricia Painter

Mr. Graham has woven through my entire life. My family never supported my salvation ( at age 7). I looked to Mr. Graham for that support. I counseled at Crusades and am now RRT Chaplain. He was the only person I ever encountered whose message never changed.
