What a blessing Dr. Billy Graham has been in my life and countless millions around the world! I still watch Billy Graham Crusades when they are on television. Because he preached the love of Jesus Christ, untold millions accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and were born again.
What a blessing he was and still is to our society. Thankful for the Graham family.
Words cannot express what Billy Graham meant to me. I remember the first time I visited the Billy Graham library. I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit, and was in awe of such a beautiful place. I am so thankful for the life and legacy of Billy Graham.
My grandmother would have me find Billy Graham’s Crusades through the radio or search through the TV guides in hopes Billy Graham would be preaching somewhere! This constant search led to a closer relationship with my grandmother and in turn, the teachings led me to a closer relationship with GOD. RIP.
In 1985, I took a group of troubled teens that hung around a surf shop I owned to Billy’s Crusade at Anaheim Stadium. They all went forward to receive Christ. The change in their lives drove me to start a weekly Bible study. That Bible study grew into Calvary Chapel LaHabra, which I pastor.
I was personally impacted by a Billy Graham movie at a local theater in Annapolis, MD, when I was a teenager. This film caused me to know that I needed a savior. I was a child that was being taught about Jesus, but I now had a better understanding of sin. I fully committed my life to Christ!
Your mother and father have inspired so many lives, ours included. I know he is having good conversations with the Lord.
Sometime during 1971-1972, I was in front of our television, 7 years old, watching Billy Graham’s Crusade. I remember being filled with a strong urge to write and I did. The seed was planted and my love for the Savior grows dearer every day. I Peter 1:3.
At seven years of age, in the summer of 1960, I was watching Billy Graham on TV. I felt the presence of God and knew I needed the Savior. In the quiet of of that room I accepted Christ. I knew God had a purpose for my life. I am a licensed/ordained pastor and still growing.
When he went into the Billy Graham Library, he stated, “It’s nice, but there are too many pics of me. I want more of Christ to be represented.” That is true humility and it blessed my life. No matter how long he preached, he always pointed back to Christ.
