Praying for your family and that God will shower his peace upon your family in this time of loss but also great gain. “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”
Our prayers are with the entire Graham family! May God continue to work through the throngs of people whose lives were touched by Mr. Graham in reaching others with the Gospel of Christ! What a celebration it must have been when he entered Heaven’s gates greeted by the One he loved so!
My father was raised in San Mateo FL, near Palatka, If I heard it once I heard it hundreds of times- a story my father told of Billy Graham. My Dad was a young man and Reverend Graham was a young preacher, preaching his heart out near San Mateo. My Dad went to the revival and was a lifelong follower.
Chills… To see the masses of people come forward to accept Christ at the end of his sermon or crusade, time after time while the choir sang “Just As I Am.” Powerful to see.
I feel that I am expressing the feelings of the majority of Tennesseans when I say to you, “What a true inspiration he was to so many around the world.” I loved him as a child and remember our family watching his crusades that aired. I could only pray to help a few as he did with so much love.
As a young boy growing up in Jamaica I remember seeing my mother watching Rev. Graham crusades on cable TV. I found his message to be inspiring. Even today in my mid-20’s, I still visit YouTube to watch his crusades as a source of inspiration in my life. Thank you for introducing me to Christ. RIP.
Our memories are watching Rev. Graham’s Crusades, every one of them. I know his reading and teaching of the Gospel outlined our lives together. We thank you. God bless
Dr. Billy Graham will always have a special place in my heart and memories. His legacy is a testimony to God and His Son Jesus Christ! Thanking God for him and the privilege my family had to meet him personally in 2007. All praises to God! (Matt. 25:21, 1 Cor. 10:31, Psalm 73:23-24, 2 Tim. 4:7-8)
A couple summers ago, we had the privilege of visiting the Graham’s chapel in Asheville, NC. What an amazing place, full of beautiful people spreading God’s word and love. It was a powerful experience, taking in everything the Graham’s have done and are doing. Today is a joyous day- Billy is home.
May Mr. Billy Graham rest in eternal peace and may God bless him for his faithful service!
