I was saved at the BG Crusade in Greensboro, NC, in 1951. From this experience many in my family, including my mother, future husband and two sisters were saved. I especially remember that he encouraged new Christians to get involved in a Bible-believing church, which I did. My condolences to all.
Billy Graham spoke at the end of the film, “Mr.Texas”: “Has Christ become the master of your life?” I accepted Christ, attended Fuller, and met my husband there. I worked in an office and counseled at the San Francisco Crusade. Mrs. Pearl Goode (a prayer mentor) told me stories of Crusades. I also served with Navigators.

Billy Graham was a vibrant part of my early years through his booming, powerful radio voice for Christ during his many Crusades in the 40’s. As I grew, so did his international voice—so that now in an increasingly godless age, his faith speaks volumes from his place beside Christ in the heavens.
I attended one of the Crusades in Madison Square Garden with my family. I went forward to reconfirm my faith and rededicate my life to God through Jesus Christ. The preaching of Dr. Graham made a lasting impact on my life. I decided to become a pastor while in college. Christ is in my life!
So, so many lives have been changed forever by Rev. Billy Graham’s life and ministry. His life, message and ministry have truly been an example of the living Gospel. I thank God for His gift to us all.
Billy was our family’s greatest influence to God. Mama called him “Billy Sunday.”
My condolences to all of you. I first saw Billy Graham at the Spartan Stadium in 1981. From advice and encouragement from the BGEA organization, I changed my way of thinking and moved on with my life. Thank you Billy Graham!
My deepest condolence to your family on the death of your beloved Billy Graham. He meant the world first to my grandmother in her small town in Northern Ontario in the 1950’s and then later to my mother in subsequent years. Their deepest desires were to attend a crusade in person. Mom did!
In the 1970s, my father rented many of Billy’s Crusade films to show at our local hall. My family loved his preaching. My family spent 50+ years in the outback of Australia in ministry. Many people found The Lord and continue to follow Him today. -Lanyon Family in Australia, saved in 1959, still serving.
