Memories of watching the crusades on TV growing up in a small cotton mill town are vivid in my mind. It played a great part in my eventually asking Jesus to come into my heart. My oldest brother heard Billy preach in New York back in the 50″s which helped him come to Christ.
Thank you for the wonderful service. As a teenager I attended the Billy Graham Crusade in Melbourne, Australia in 1959 and have enjoyed faith in Jesus all my life since then. All members of my church – Upwey Baptist Community Church, Victoria, Australia will appreciate this memorial service.
Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family. We rejoice in the life of Billy Graham. I remember going to two Crusades. One in New Jersey and one in New York. What a man of honor and integrity, mutually exemplified ‘the first, the greatest of these will be the least of these.’
Dear Rev. Graham, thank you for your wonderful message for God. Bless and praise all your family. I pray they carry the message of Jesus Christ to all the world, especially here in Australia when the country is slipping away from God. Rest in the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Billy Graham. I know that he is celebrating in heaven. I know that God and Jesus told him well done. I feel as if he was my friend, even though I never met him. I would watch him on TV with my mom when I was growing up. He will be missed. God bless you.
Rev. Graham made so many impacts on my life but one big help he gave me was when I found out two of my grandchildren were caught up in homosexuality and my heart was devastated. Every Christian was telling me cut them off, but Billy Graham said, “I would love them more.” The Lord used him.
I wish I could have met Billy Graham.
Thank you, Billy Graham. You have gone to a far better place than you have left. You saved my life in Sydney, Australia, in 1959…age 20 years. Will always be eternally grateful.
To Billy’s family, I thank God because Billy was my mentor from the distance and will be that way until the day I meet him at home. My heart is joyful because he is with our Father in heaven. God bless you all.
I was only six years old in 1959 when Billy Graham held a crusade at the show ground in Sydney, NSW, Australia. On the last night my mum convinced my dad to take her up to Sydney to attend that crusade. That night both my parents went forward to yield their lives to Jesus! Eternally grateful, BG!
