The whole Graham family has influenced me. When I heard Billy Graham in Brazil, God touched my heart. Also, when I read Franklin Graham’s book, it encouraged me. And when Ruth Graham came to Syracuse to speak, it gave me great hope and strength after my divorce. Thank you, Graham family, God bless!
In 1974, my brother-in-law went to a Billy Graham Crusade in Va. Beach. He gave his life to Jesus and completely changed. Jesus saved his marriage and he is in heaven.
I had the opportunity of singing in the choir at three Billy Graham crusades in New York. Although that was many years ago I still feel joy when I sing the hymns that I sang then. Billy Graham renewed my faith and challenged me to read the Bible, which I have done.
Thank you.
While teaching at U.S.C., Bob, a teacher/seeker and I met Billy in L.A. Bob became a staunch believer; stayed about 40 years counseling students. In the rocket business a boss, Jim, with four degrees, attended the Colosseum with me, was greatly moved; became a Bible student and Bible teacher.
When I met Billy Graham thru TV station back in 1975 he inspired me a lot because I didn’t know of Jesus but through watching him asked for forgiveness.
My first experience, 1977 in Gothenburg Sweden, a cold January and 9 months pregnant. Went forward and found a church after I came back home that way. The second experience, Atlanta in 1994. In 1977 I was ministered to; this time I ministered to others. Special memory, a group of young people.
I came home to Sweden from Ethiopia where I got married to give birth to our first child. It was 1977 at the crusade in Göteborg, The Holy Spirit urged me to go forward.
My family and I always watched the crusades. So did my maternal grandparents next door. It’s just what we did. The service was wonderful. I will miss him. Thinking of and praying for you. Anne Navarro
A scholarship paid for by royalties from Billy Graham’s book “Angels” was awarded to me in 1976 that enabled me to attend the Billy Graham Graduate School of Communication Studies at Wheaton Graduate School. I met Billy twice at Wheaton, graduated in 1978, and am deeply grateful for his kindness.
