Do You Know Christ?
I grew up watching Billy Graham on TV. My mother was a missionary, and the salvation message resolved itself in my life with the beautiful hymn that was always played at the Crusades: “Just As I Am.” Thank you, Dr. Graham!! You will be truly missed!!
Billy Graham and his message have been a part of my life since I was in the world. We heard the telecast for years that would draw millions to Christ. My grandmother would invite me over to her house for the telecast. Even now, his message has drawn me closer to God as I listen to many of his sermons.
Billy was the first person who ever explained to me how to be saved. I am glad he did.
Teasing our son-in-law for walking the aisle twice. His mother was saved at a Crusade while he was in the womb, and he, too, responded to God as Savior, as a young man.
Talk about a man of God! He was the finest. I sang in several Crusade choirs in the Detroit area. I want the name of Billy Graham to go on forever! Psalm 48:14.
I remember being 10 or 11 years old, and my mom would take me to one of the stadiums in LA just to hear Billy speak to the whole world. He spoke as though no cameras were on him. I’ll always be forever grateful.
Though I never got to see Mr. Graham live, I’ve seen Franklin speak and could feel his presence there during that time. I am thankful for his example and for all the years our Lord allowed him to be on this Earth.
I came to Jesus late, but the past week my son and I listened to Billy Graham’s messages on XM radio. It defined in me a new purpose and desire to complete my ministry degree and to be a father and husband. Jesus came and offered His hand to me, then saved my life three times. I owe Jesus all of me. Thank you, Billy!
You are in Glory along with my husband who passed a day after you. I know Christ gives comfort to your family and mine. Thank you for loving the Lord and teaching so many others to receive him.
I’ve always enjoyed listening to him on the radio and watching him on TV. The satellite radio now has a Billy Graham channel. I’ve been listening to it. I can’t wait to see him in heaven.
