  1. Paul and Carol Glenn

Without Mr. Graham’s 1969 Madison Square Garden crusade my wife and I would probably never have met and gotten married. I was from Texas and she was from Pennsylvania. I attended the School of Evangelism and she sang in the choir. I proposed Friday of that week on our first date. This Dec. will be 50 years.

  2. Charles Shanks

Billy Graham first touched my life in the mid-1950s at about 6 years old. I heard him preaching about Jesus Christ on a “crystal” radio late at night. I never forgot. The Holy Spirit must have sealed the memory to my heart. I was saved 5-3-76. Brother-in-law was saved before his death watching Mr. Graham.

  3. Linda Stopfel

My parents were staunch supporters of Billy Graham. They took us to Connie Mack stadium in Philadelphia for a crusade. My sister went forward and gave her life to Christ. I felt the Lord’s presence and it has remained with me my whole life. This is a memory I shall never forget.

  4. Dan Lloyd

I met Christ during the 1976 Seattle Crusade. I have been a pastor in the Seattle area for more than 30 years. My story was featured in the April 1993 Decision magazine. Several years ago I met Billy and Ruth. I will be visiting the Billy Graham Library in April to pay my respects to both of them.

  5. Allen Kolb

To The Graham Family: We have so many great memories. We attended his crusades when we could. Our last one was in 1996 in Atlanta. We have followed the BGEA for many years. We give our tithes and offering every month. We are members of a local Baptist Church that we do not attend at this time.

  6. Angela Weller

Billy Graham was always a household name growing up. I was born in the 60s, but in 1952 my mom was in Toyko, Japan, and was part of the Youth for Christ team that welcomed Billy. I am grateful for his unwavering faith, which inspired me to draw closer to Jesus over the years.

  7. Edna Kemp

I accepted Christ in 1952 at the movie “Oil Town USA” starring Redd Harper with a crusade as part of the movie. I was 11 years old. After the movie, an invitation was given to which I responded. I always followed the Crusades and attended one in Fresno, CA later in life. Thank you.

  8. Eddie Thomas

I had the privilege of serving as a supervisor for counselors at Dr. Graham’s last crusade in Nashville, TN. It was an amazing week to say the least. I remember the night set aside for young people and how moving it was. Hundreds of kids came forward and surrendered to Christ. Praise God!

  9. Andrea Deitz

Saw him at Lenoir College when I was a teenager. Then I watched as you took him to the library at the Longview exit in Hickory. So proud that God sent such a man to us and he still is impacting people’s lives. Please continue to have programs on TV about him and he will still reach people.

  10. Lorrie Dean

I remember him coming on tv when I was in elementary school. Even though I didn’t understand all of his messages, it always amazed me at the end when all of the people would go forward. I can still hear him saying, “Come, you come.” He was a great example of a man of God.
