He was a great man and a faithful servant. He was a moral standard for our nation all those years, untouched by scandal. Rest easy with our Lord, Brother Billy. We will dearly miss you.
My husband committed adultery and our marriage of 43 years ended in divorce. I was heartbroken so I decided to visit the Cove to hear Anne Graham Lotz. This trip changed my life. Two ladies from Pennsylvania became my prayer partners and we still keep in touch. I visit the Cove every year.
My sympathy to all the Graham family. Been a fan/supporter of Billy Graham Assoc. since about 1950. I watched the memorial service on TV and know Billy would be proud of his family. Will miss him, but I know he is with Jesus and the love of his life, Ruth. May God bless the family.
He lit a fire in me to follow our Savior! It instilled a peace in me. It’s a good feeling to wake up every day knowing God!
He was a great example and encouragement. When he held a Crusade at Wheaton in 1960, I was impressed with all the prayer that went on before the Crusade. He was a very humble person on campus. This is my eighth year in Hope for Each Day. It has been an inspiration and helped me in my daily needs.
In 1974, Billy Graham’s Crusade was in Phoenix, AZ. I was 10 years old, and I went forward and gave my life to Christ. I remember receiving a booklet to encourage me in the Lord, and I would read the Scriptures and fill out the questions. I have continued my walk with Christ all these years.
First I would like to send condolences to Billy’s family. May God comfort you during this time of grieving. He’s with Jesus and enjoying every moment. In 2003, I watched a Billy Graham TV Crusade and prayed and received Jesus as my Lord. Thanks for having Crusades to share the truth of the Gospel.
I watched Billy Graham on television many times when I was a child with my grandmother. I knew he was a man of God as young as I was. His speaking was so inspiring and uplifting. I believe that he loved God with all his heart and he loved Jesus from the depth of his soul. There is no doubt where he is now…
Thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. We will miss Billy Graham.
I work with a homeless ministry in Charlotte and am close to Mr. Graham and his preachings. Prayers for the Graham family. I worked for the Library as well.
