As a teenager, a friend and I attended the Billy Graham film “The Restless Ones” in March of 1966. Though there were only the two of us in the theater, the film was shown and both of us responded to the altar call. I have continued to serve Christ since that day by His grace! Forever grateful!
Reverend Billy Graham led me to the Lord when I was a young child around the age of 11. Right there in our family home while watching TV, I got down on my knees and prayed. I am forever grateful for the blessing of this man’s service.
My dad went to be with the Lord in 1991. Years before, he went to a Billy Graham Crusade in Los Angeles and was born again.
When my mom was in high school, someone invited her to a Billy Graham film and she believed in Jesus. She had not grown up in a Christian home. I am so thankful to that person who invited her and that Billy Graham was faithful to share the Gospel. I may now know Christ without that.
Surely, I am deeply saddened to hear that Billy Graham died. However, at the same time, I am glad for Billy. In the moment I heard, I imagined what a super-fantastic, magnificent party there was in heaven as Billy arrived at the door…if there is a door.
How wonderful Dr. Graham was speaking just at the time. His messages could be recorded and so many of them were. So thankful we have them with us to listen to, as well as hearing Anne speak now as well. Thank you to all in his family for how you’ve contributed in your own ways as well. Much love.
After becoming a Christian, I found inspiration as a boy listening to the “Hour of Decision” on Sunday afternoons. Praise the Lord!
Billy Graham was the last of the Mohicans as far as pastors are concerned. He was an authentic man of God. He loved the Lord and he lived what he preached. He did not preach prosperity but instead preached Christ crucified. His sole interest was converting souls to Christ. May he rest in Christ!
I met the Lord at Billy Graham’s Crusade in 1978 in Philadelphia, PA. I was 18.
My prayers are with the family. My mom and grandparents loved Pastor Graham. He was a blessing to us. He will be missed.
