When my youth pastor was a kid his parents listened to a Billy Graham sermon on TV and they accepted Christ as their savior. Later he then accepted Christ and worked for Youth for Christ. This ministry reached out to my high school and one day in my Sr. English class a friend shared your faith w/me.
He helped me when my faith was dying to believe that God is always there for me and he loves me no matter what.
When I was growing up and one of Billy Graham’s crusades came on the tv, we were watching. My mama made sure of it! While I never had the privilege to attend a crusade in person, I have watched countless numbers of them that were televised. Billy Graham had a huge impact on my life as a Christian.
I am so very sorry for your loss. Even knowing death is a part of life and a consequence of sin in the world, it is devastating. The Word tells us even the Lord cried over a loved one who died. May you be comforted by the Lord and Savior I know you serve.
Praise be to God for sending Billy Graham to Mandeville, Jamaica when I was only 9 years old because he showed me the way to redemption through Christ and God has been with me now for 47 years. I know that I will see Billy Graham again in Heaven and I look forward to that day.
Billy Graham…I regret that I never attended his crusades. I heard of Billy in the mid 1990s. Whoa, once I seen his crusades via TV…oh my goodness…the power that comes out of his heart to preach. The Holy Spirit’s power in Billy. Ever since, I don’t miss a segment. Love him.
For many years and to this day Billy Graham has been the epitome of a Godly man. He has always been honorable, moral and faithful. I lead two Bible studies, and every time I want to have an example of a Godly man, I think of and state, “Billy Graham!” God bless you!
He is with our Lord now. Amen
I always loved listening to Billy Graham on tv and hearing his simple message of coming to Jesus while you still have time. I also loved the song “Just as I Am” that was played during the invitation. Billy Graham exemplified humility and grace throughout his ministry. There will never be another like him.
Being one to avoid crowds, I’ve often asked myself if there is anyone in this world I would see besides Jesus and deal with the massive crowds. That person was Billy Graham ever since I was saved. I rejoice in his being with our Lord and look forward to meeting him finally. Aloha & Amene from HI
