I’m sorry for your loss but Billy is in a better place.
I first saw him on TV in the 70’s. At 13 he came to my town and I took the leap of faith. I followed BG until now. He was servant of God.
I was given the call to preach at an early age, just fourteen, while in deep prayer about the direction of my life. After accepting my call, I started to preach sermons at nursing homes, churches, and the like. Billy Graham has been a model evangelist to me and I strive to deliver the Word like him.
I was there, 1949 at the second tent. I was there, I heard Beverly sing. I was there to hear Dr. Graham speak. I was there, now 83. Yes God loves me, I know Jesus will forgive me/God the Holy Spirit knows me.
That death is to be embraced not feared!
Since I was a small child I heard Billy Graham on the radio and TV. My husband and I went to BG training at Living Waters Church in Georgia and were counselors at New Hope Baptist in Fayetteville, GA for a time. We loved it! Franklin does wonderfully carrying the torch! Light to the world.
Attended three meetings. Rededicated my life at one. All my family loved and cherished Billy Graham. Read many of his books. What a beautiful man of God. Rest In Peace.
As unfortunately happens to some well-known preachers, Billy was never embroiled in any immoral accusations. He loved the Lord and told others about Jesus. A simple life sold out for Christ. I’m sure he has heard the Lord say, “Well done, My good and faithful servant.” Thank you Billy and family!
I’m 46. I accepted Jesus at 16 at a Red River Valley Billy Graham crusade on TV. It’s made life easier.
My condolences to you. The Reverend Dr. Graham was a wonderful pastor and God bless his family. I’m happy he got to lie in honor and people said goodbyes while he laid in repose. I’m happy people showed their love for him and I hope it all advances the Gospel. I’m 46. I accepted Jesus at 16 at a Red River Valley Billy Graham crusade on TV.
