Very much appreciate this.
Billy Graham will be missed for sure. Ilove him.
Our family hardly ever missed listening to almost all of his sermons on T.V and radio. What a loss to all of us, but then again we thank the good Lord for all of the years we had him.
My memory goes back to 1953 of Billy Graham. As a newspaper boy I read the headlines of the Dallas Times Herald and read the news of the BGEA Crusade being conducted at the Cotton Bowl. A year later I would buy the paperback book, Peace With God. My church membership did not give me peace.
I can remember as a child growing up watching Billy Graham on TV. Everyone in the house had to be quiet while he was on. I didn’t understand then but I thank God I understand now. Thank you Billy Graham and thank you Jesus!
Yes, when Billy Graham was on TV when I was a young girl we would watch it every night he was on. Also he spoke in my parents’ church in Chicago as well, I think when he first started out. And George Beverly Shea sang in the church at the same time. When I had my own family we had him on our TV too.
My aunt Emma raised me. She was born in 1879. She raised 4 of us kids after our mother left. She was about 80 then. She taught us his word throughout our childhood. That was all we had, but we were very happy because of the way Emma relayed his message. Thank you Mr. Graham for saving me.
I’m a junior in high school and I’ve been a follower of God since I was little. Since a young age I knew I wanted to work in ministry and share the Good News to the world. Billy Graham is a great example of a disciple of God, and I hope I can be like him some day.
Watching the program on TBN. Remembering his revivals and sending condolences.
