I grew up Catholic, but didn’t go to church. It wasn’t until I was in 4th grade that my family was invited to have dinner with another family. Billy Graham was on the TV and I sat glued to the floor during his entire sermon. It was a divine moment…days later I accepted the Lord and was saved.
When I was a little girl, my mom always watched his shows. Now she has cable TV, she has the desire to watch it anytime.
I was six when my grandparents took me to a Billy Graham crusade in L.A. I left them praying, in the nosebleed section, and went down to the stage to accept Jesus! My poor frightened grandparents finally found me, but that day was the beginning of my lifelong love affair with my Savior! Thank you!
In 2008, we went bankrupt. We lost our business and house. I took it personally and tried to kill myself, but when I woke up alive the next day, I found God holding me. He sent me to the Billy Graham Museum in Wheaton, IL, where I gave my life to Christ. Thank you, Billy!
I was there at Harringay in 1954. I was 7 years old. I remember walking forward on my own. I was shaking and a lady counsellor in an enormous fur coat put it over me thinking I was cold. That was the first time I experienced the power of God. I am now 71 and still have my ‘first love’ for God.
I remember I was in Buffalo at a Billy Graham crusade and it was very inspiring and it moved me. So thanks.
I heard Billy Graham in Hamden Park football stadium In Glasgow in 1954. I have great memories of his voice and message calling me to give my life to Jesus. However as I was 13 and scared of getting lost, I did not go down there. So many people. However I believe that was when I became Christian. I am 76.
He has touched my life through his magazines. May God grant him perfect rest at the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Seeing him laying there in his home health care bed still taking a visit from a pastor really touched my heart. Dr Graham still prayed and gave advice to the young pastor even saying hello with a smile on his face. Also the passion that he speaks with is unreal.
I grew up listening to Billy Graham on my grandfather’s radio. May 23, 1970 at 25 & on my knees in my living room with my baby daughter seriously ill, I would not get up until I knew God heard my prayer, sometime in the wee hours of the morning I knew He had & went to bed with His Peace in my heart.
