Do You Know Christ?
I was glad to be at Bryant Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala. when I was a child with my grandmother, aunt and uncle to listen to a man who I was excited to hear and to see the joy on the adult faces were awesome. I have listened to television broadcasts and when his son, Franklin returned to speak.
I first heard of Billy Graham from my mother. In the early 60’s I was living at home while attending college. I’d come home at lunch time to find my mother ironing, with the radio tuned to a sermon of of Billy Graham’s. It started in me a lifelong admiration for this man and his ministry.
I found Dr. Billy Graham as a simple, powerful messenger of God in the 20th century.
I would listen to his old programs and crusades and be blessed every time. His books were great and I am sure many were saved because of his teaching. He loved the Lord and it showed in his life, totally serving the Lord. A great and godly man he was and will be missed. Thank you Billy.
Billy Graham was like a grandfather to me as mine were taken prior to me being born, and as a little girl I would listen to his messages as if I was listening to my own grandfather who was a pastor, teaching me in the ways of the Lord. Thank you for answering the Call of God and your ministry.
Billy Graham has been my mentor since I accepted the Lord back in 2015. I always used to see him on TBN. My faith grew stronger, always wanted to meet in person but someday I’ll meet him in heaven.
Prayers for the family.
I remember when Mr. Graham spoke at the 1997 commencement at Liberty. There were so many people that they held it outside. What struck me the most was no one was looking at race or political affiliation. Everyone was there to hear from a true man of God. His example always inspired me.
Love you Billy. I fell in love with Christ. Thank you Billy for your influence on my life about my beloved friend Christ. I love Jesus and he smiles at His hope through Billy leading God’s children to peace and hope to see you soon.
Billy Graham has a special place in my family’s hearts because his ministry led to the salvation of my grandpa and grandma who were blessed with 11 wonderful children (my mother is one of them). My grandpa went to be with the Lord back in 2012 and I find comfort in the fact that Papa has met Billy.
