As days pass by I will never forget the feeling I felt as I sat on the I-85 North bridge in Gastonia, NC. Tears rolled down my face because I thought I missed the motorcade that day. As Pastor Graham’s motorcade passed along with him I felt a heavenly holy peace.
I first heard Billy’s sermons in 2015 when I’d become disillusioned & had quit church. Preaching on repentance & salvation (wasn’t he always), I was convicted to re-examine my life, thoughts, actions and intentions. I realised that I was a hot mess headed to hell. I re-committed my life to Christ.
REALMENTE ESCUCHABA SUS MENSAJES POR LA RADIO,QUE HA SIDO REALMENTE BENDICIÒN PARA NACIONES. SE SIENTE EL VACIÓ POR SU PARTIDA, PERO LA ESPERANZA ES VIVA QUE LO VOLVEREMOS A VER. AHORA NECESITO CONTAR CON MATERIAL DE NIÑOS PARA INICIAR UNA NUEVA OBRA EN CHACHAPOYAS -DEPARTAMENTO DE AMAZONAS.GRACIAS
My father was saved at a crusade. He served in the ministry for 52 years before passing away. The legacy that Billy left on this nation is widespread. His message to not be ashamed of the Gospel is even more needed today. I loved watching him and his love for his wife and family. Condolences.
Billy Graham’s love for the Gospel impacts me to this day. I did not learn about Jesus or Billy Graham until later in life, but now that I know, my life has changed dramatically. Thank God. I absolutely love listening to Billy Graham sermons for fun. Forget TV. Give me some gospel.
The Billy Graham Crusade! I am 67 yrs old, No. 3 of 11 children and my mother would have us get our Bibles and we would gather around the television for every broadcast. It was the greatest time we as a family experienced. I was 16 years old when I gave my life to Christ viewing a broadcast!
I was first introduced to the gospel of Jesus and His gift of Salvation at a Billy Graham crusade in Portland, Oregon in 1968. I was a young high school student at the time. Billy Graham helped me to understand what that meant for my life. It is because of him that I am a child of God today.
He was one of the greatest preachers. He did a service in Mesquite, Texas in 1967. My family was able to go. I loved Billy Graham. He truly was a godly man.
We watched the Billy Graham Crusades on T.V. The sermons helped me to accept Jesus as a 14 year old. We went to a Franklin Graham Crusade when it was here in Pittsburgh, Pa. I love reading the Decision Magazine.
When Dr. Graham visited Madras, India in 1977, I was just 18 years old. His message touched my heart and though I did not go forward to accept Christ then because of my friends, that message continued to speak to my heart and just 10 months after that I surrendered my life to Christ. Now a pastor.
