Eighty-three years old and going strong for my Lord. Have listened, attended a crusade in Columbia, SC , and have many Billy Graham books on my bookshelf. He has been with me throughout my life. Called my 5 children when the crusades were on. Still associate with BGEA and love my Lord!
Condolences to the family.
As a Christian since age eleven, born and raised on an Oklahoma farm, I have loved the Lord God all my life for his blessings. He’s given me Christian parents and siblings, and a wife, daughter, grandchildren, Christian friends, and the privilege to be a greeter to comfort cancer patients.
I don’t know what to say. I went to a Crusade once, but don’t remember meeting him. I watched his sermons on TV through the years. The only thing I can think of to say is I always felt that God was emanating from him. I always felt it, every time I saw him. I know I will miss him being there.
I am a minister of communication/encouragement counseling. I have known Minister Graham since I was a young man. I am now 73 years of age. His ministry is a blessing to me. May his family not worry about him, but wait to see him again some day. May the blessing of the Lord make you rich every day.
He was my role model. In 1985, I entered the African Bible College. I saw and read about him in church history. I will continue to preach Christ. We will meet there, Uncle Billy.
I came to Christ by means of a June 2004 televised BGEA Crusade. I remember that Reverend Graham was wearing an olive green trench coat. I said the sinners prayer out loud that was printed along the bottom of my television screen. I completed a formal walk. Thank you.
I’m Canadian. When I was 6 or 7, I insisted my father send for a book advertised at the close of a Crusade. He explained how it would be “good form” to send along a donation. My dad was a Baptist. That introduction to church and Billy Graham shaped my life.
I grew up with parents who were heroin addicts. I met Jesus when I was 5 and began praying for Him to either change them or give me a new family. Not many years later, they went to a Billy Graham crusade and got saved! God answered both prayers: He saved them, and He adopted me. Thank God for Billy.
I heard of a great man who was coming to Fresno, CA but I wasn’t able to see him. I grew up as a Christian but never fully understood Christ until one day the same man who came to Fresno came on television and I surrendered my life to Christ! ♥ Pastor Graham meant so much to me! I still listen to him.
