In listening to Billy Graham Crusades, the singleness and purpose in glorifying God–in a way we were drawn in to the equation in our own lives–was manifested in the way so many lives were saved by being able to intensify the need of offering ourselves to Jesus, even at home.
I’m a Christian because of Billy Graham. When I was a child, I was sick really frequently and fairly seriously. To help pass the time in bed, I listened to Billy Graham on the radio. He told me that God loved me and explained about Jesus. I committed to Him at that time.
I loved Billy Graham’s revivals and how he would call people forward to convert. He had a very commanding presence. I loved to hear him preach the Word of God. I admire the love he had for God, his wife, his family, and humankind.
Good afternoon – I am thankful that my Daddy listened to Billy Graham and I have continued the same. I cannot wait to see them both in Heaven. I know my Daddy’s crossing over he was finally glad to meet Mr. Graham and Jesus.
I met Billy Graham at a 6 AM prayer meeting in Jamaica, when he came for his first crusade in 1955? I met him again at Inter-varsity in Urbana, Illinois. I met him again in Amsterdam at the conference on evangelism and I took a great photo of his wife; he wrote me a lovely letter of thanks.
My condolences to Billy Graham’s family. He was the truth. I will miss him. God had a plan for his life and he carried it out to the best of his ability. I watched him wait for God to call him home in his last days. He was a treasure. Gone but never forgotten.
The first time that I heard the gospel was when I was five years of age in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Graham was in a crusade in the old Charlotte Colosseum on Independence Blvd–a mile from my home place. When I was eight, I was saved at church, and called to preach at 9 1/2. I have been preaching for 44 years.
Billy Graham was the greatest example of a Christian that I have ever known.
Condolences to the family.
