To the disciple of God who gave his life to reach the teacher in his teaching, the good creator has enjoyed his glory.
When I was watching Mr. Graham’s ministry it made an impact on my life. It was so real you can feel it in your bones and in your soul. God has used the life and ministry of Billy Graham in a very special way. You were chosen by GOD. You are very blessed and your entire family.
At 11 years old, I went forward at a Billy Graham Crusade along with my sis and grandma. In college, I joined a Bible study group and then really understood the Gospel. But I’m sure that first time at 11 was a powerful first step. Now I have been a pastor’s wife over 30 years and raised six boys.
My mother supported Billy Graham back in the 50s and 60s, so whenever he was on television we watched his Crusades. In 1962 at the age of 12 I understood clearly for the first time that I needed a personal relationship with Jesus. I became a child of God that night and will forever be grateful.
Brother Graham was such a wonderful messenger of the Lord. Growing up I watched him on TV, prayed for him and even defended him, telling others, “Don’t touch God’s anointed.” He truly was a man of God who lived what he preached. He was just a human yet chosen and answered the call to serve the Lord.
I only wish I could have met Mr Graham. He truly has done more for leading people to Christ than any other religious person over the last 100 years.
In 1969, Billy Graham dropped by the men’s store in which I worked. The store was Mooney Andrews Men’s Clothing in Fullerton, Ca. He showed me a little card in his wallet with my name on it, and said that he had been praying for me. Billy was an old friend of my mom. I thank God for his prayers.
When Rev. Billy Graham died, I heard his funeral on the radio. The family extended kindness to President and First Lady Trump and they attended it. I share words I read in books or magazines. The movie, Redeemed, The Decision America tour, the Civil Rights crusades, #RNC2020, thank you for it all.
I first heard and watched one of Billy Graham’s crusades when I was at a tender age of 10 or so. It truly put a fear in me that I don’t want to go to hell and I don’t want any of my family members to go there too. I am so thankful for the invitation to accept Jesus Christ as my personal savior!
I thank God for my brother in Christ and his service unto the Lord. For it is written: I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Read 1 Corinthians 3 in its entirety.
