As a child in the early 70s, I had no idea of his impact worldwide and never really gave him or Christianity much thought. 33 years later I was completing a faith-based program for people struggling with addiction. There I found his book “World Aflame” & I’ve been on fire for the Lord ever since.
Thank you Rev. Graham for being such a Blessing and a gentle reminder of what the Bible says. Without you and my aunt, my life would not have been the same. You have always been an example to me of what a *real* man should be and how he should conduct himself in this corrupt & selfish generation.
Every time I watch one of his old sermons on YouTube, the message that he preached is still so clear, even to this day. Still carries the same power.
Thank you to all of the people @ BillyGraham.org. Thank you again for this very special DVD. I have always loved Billy Graham. I got to see him in Sacramento, CA. What a blessing that was.
I believe that Reverend Graham was the greatest evangelist that has ever lived. I am sure he brought more people to Jesus than many of the evangelists that are alive today or will ever live. He is greatly missed.
I first heard Billy Graham preach in Tachikowa, Japan about 1955 or 56. Our family was stationed there and he made an appearance in the Air Force Base Chapel. Even though I was just a child, his presence was commanding and the memory of him is as clear to me now as it was, back then.
As a child, I watched TV crusades with my family. I attended a movie in my hometown, went forward and gave my heart to God! Later, I moved to Minneapolis. I volunteered and led many people to Christ at Crusades and television specials! I met Billy and Ruth, prayed and shared at their office!
I will never forget the time when I was 12 years old and the crusade came to Chicago. As soon as the invitation was given, I ran down the steps and stood right in front of Dr. Graham. That night I rededicated my life to Christ and the lessons by mail helped me to grow in my relationship to Jesus.
I have always been a Christian. I saw Billy Graham when he was in Denver in 1987. I consider that one of the high points of my life. I went forward and accepted Christ in public. The world is not the same without Billy Graham. Thank God his family members are carrying forward with his work.
I first heard Billy when I was 8 years old. I will be 75 in three days. Billy has had a direct impact on the direction of my life. Because of Billy, I have a personal walk with Jesus Christ and am anchored in my faith for eternity. God bless Billy in his new home.
