Praise the Lord for such a wonderful servant of Jesus Christ. Please let the children and their families know how Billy was used starting from my parents singing in the choir at the tent Revival in Los Angeles back in 1949, to now my parents’ granddaughter and her husband working for the BGEA.
We are so sorry for your loss of your Daddy. We are so thankful to God for what He did through Billy’s life. God was able to touch so many lives through someone so willing to be used like your Daddy. Billy’s sermons are as timely now as they were then. We pray for God’s Peace for you.
Franklin, God bless you and your family. Thank you for your email announcement and eloquent words on the passing of your father. In my opinion, he was the greatest example for Jesus Christ in my lifetime. He will be rewarded with many crowns in Heaven. He was a great man of God.
If there was any a man who deserved to lay his eyes upon the Lord, it is Billy Graham! God bless the Graham family in these trying times – he will certainly be missed by you, his family, but there are also the millions around the globe that he drew to Christ.
Through the years I realized I was not always following Christ. One Sunday morning, not feeling well, I stayed home while my family went to church. Bro. Billy was on TV so I felt led to watch his message. At the end I was on the floor crying out to Jesus and then spent 20 plus years in missions.
He truly was a faithful servant of God.
The world will miss Dr Billy Graham so much.
Dr. Graham was an amazing man and a faithful servant of Christ. I grew up near Wheaton, Illinois, and I often visited the Billy Graham Museum for peace and hope. When I watched his Crusades, I was always deeply moved by the hymn “Just As I Am.” His faith inspired me to share my faith. Thank you!
My mother made her four children watch one of Rev. Graham’s revivals in the late 1960s. I’ll admit I wasn’t happy to have to sit through a sermon, but the seed Rev. Graham planted remained, later watered by another disciple of Christ, and today, praise the Lord, I am a child of God. Welcome Home!
