Billy Graham, rest in peace my brother in Christ. I was leaving home when you began preaching. My life as a horse trainer, teenage singing cowboy headliner, professional engineer, husband and father, award-winning author, publisher, and inspirational speaker have all been blessed by your messages.
The earth is poorer, but heaven is richer today. Thank you good and faithful servant, Billy Graham, for all your years of serving us with God’s Word.
My prayers go out to the family. I know you will feel a great loss because a father is something all have in our heart. Just like the love that God had when he gave his son Jesus to die for the world’s sins. I met your father in Norfolk, Va when I was only 23 years old. His message changed my life.
At 5 1/2 I saw you on our b/w TV. That sermon started my first conversation about salvation. At 16 I was at the large youth meeting at the Astrodome and I surrendered to full-time Christian service. I have not always been faithful but our Lord has. Thank you and I look forward to the great reunion.
Praying for you and your family. I have no doubt God greeted your father with a big smile and said well done my good and faithful servant. May the souls of the faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. With deepest sympathy, Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Holzmer
Billy Graham helped me grow in my Christian faith when I was just a boy. I would listen to his message on tape over and over again. No person influenced me more for Christ when I was a young boy than Mr. Graham. I never got to thank him in person but one day I will.
I will miss Billy Graham and he will be greatly missed by this world. I know he is in a better place. I thank God for guiding him and he sent a message of hope, grace and God’s undying love. My God comfort your family during this time.
My deepest sympathy is with all of you in the passing of your father. He will be greatly missed. May our Lord comfort you all and strengthen you and you continue the ministry your father started. I first heard him preach on the radio on the Hour of Decision when I was 16 in 1956. I felt God calling me.
Our condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Graham. He will be missed very much. But with Mr. Graham we want to say “Wohooo!” We are grateful how Mr. Graham never veered away from the true gospel message as it is presented in the Bible.
I cannot remember ever not knowing who Billy Graham was. I was blessed to have gone to 2 of his crusades. I grew up listening to him preach the gospel and I read his books. The Lord used him in mighty way and like none other. Lord raise up another man who has a heart for the lost like Billy Graham!
