I have precious memories of televised crusades I watched as a child with my parents and siblings. I believe he was instrumental in my own path to salvation, and I took comfort in the belief that he was forever offering up prayers for us all. I cannot imagine a world without him!
I am so glad I finally got to attend one of his services when he preached in Charlotte, NC in 1996. I grew up seeing him on television, but, to be there in person was so uplifting.
