  1. JoAnne Struve

I often wonder what would have become of my life had I not responded to Billy’s invitation to accept Jesus Christ as my savior during the 1965 crusade in Denver. My life changed in an instant, and I am forever grateful. My sincere sympathy and heartfelt prayers to all the family of Billy Graham. JS

  2. Joel Wright

I can still recall Rev. Graham, legs hanging, humbly seated on the edge of the stage at URBANA Missions w/ John Stott (1976), talking personally one-on-one with missionary hopefuls after conference sessions. Oh how I wished to fill his shoes one day, becoming a missionary to Brazil & Least Reached.

  3. Luis Silva

My parents introduced me to his messages at a very young age on the radio and we listened to them often. He was truly chosen by God to lead people to Christ. What rejoicing there must have been when he finally made it to Heaven! Thank you Billy Graham!

  4. Girvan Paterson

I was 15 years old when Billy Graham first came to Australia in 1959. He appeared at the huge MCG [Melbourne Cricket Ground], and 130,000 people attended–still the record crowd for that venue in spite of all the great sporting events and concerts that have appeared since! I have been a fan ever since!

  5. Donna Pullin

I sang in the Boise crusade and was present in New York. Loved George Beverly Shea and his brother Whitney was my professor at Houghton. What a team for the Lord along with Cliff Barrows and many others! Welcome Home my good and faithful servant!

  6. Matthew Allen

During the New York Crusade, my friend & I volunteered to work in the NY/Garden office as runners and sat in the first row of the Tenor section of the choir. When the Crusade moved to San Francisco, we both traveled there, again to work in the office and to sing in the choir. Will never forget.

  7. William Ellis

Never met this wonderful man. And this sounds funny but felt like our world would survive as long as he walked on earth. I used his articles on the internet for guidance.

  8. Barbara Woodring

In 1957 my parents attended a B G C in NYC when my grandma insisted they go. Mom was 8 months pregnant with my sister. At the invitation, Dad grabbed Mom’s hand and said “let’s go honey!” and Mom waddled to the front. Mom will be 90 in April. This is one of her favorite stories, repeated often.

  9. Marcella Cagle

I accepted the Lord at Billy Graham’s crusade in Fresno, California, at the Bulldog Stadium, in 2001, at the age of 72. I have followed his teachings through TV and the monthly magazine, “Decision” ever since. It is sad to learn that he has passed.
