Do You Know Christ?
So many people were added to God’s Kingdom through Billy Graham’s preaching and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association! I pray the Kingdom addition continues! My father was a taxi cab driver in Washington, D.C. and when I asked him who his most famous passenger was, he said, “Billy Graham.”
Growing up in the Atlanta, Georgia, area, I was in the 9th grade in the early 60’s. I knew about all the problems we lived through. I remember the Crusades and Billy Graham standing up for the rights of all people and he always talked right to me like I was the only one there.
I am thankful for Rev. Billy Graham and support the continuing ministry. I seldom missed a Crusade on TV when I was growing up. He often answered questions I had when he preached. He firmed my faith in times of doubt. He was an example of faith in all he did. I am grateful he is home after a life of dedication.
My mom really believed in Billy Graham and I always liked listening to him preach. He was definitely sent from God for us all. Rest in peace, Mr. Graham.
Billy believed in the One True God of the universe and shared the love of Jesus Christ, and the free gift of salvation with the world. My husband and some of his relatives became born again believers because of his preaching of the Truth. Thank you Billy for your obedience to your Lord and Savior.
I saw Billy Graham when I was a boy with my parents at the Alamo Stadium in San Antonio. Amazing. So many people together in the stands and on the field. I was probably not over 10 years old, probably younger. That night and some of his biblical TV documentaries have made a lasting impression on me.
Truly a man of God like no other.
I was 12 when watching a Billy Graham Crusade on television with my family, I received Jesus as my personal Savior. That was 47 years ago. I appreciated the Crusades because of the offer of Christian books without cost. It was the beginning of my Christian library and memorizing Scripture. Thanks.
