Do You Know Christ?
One day I was sitting on the couch with my family one of his sermons were on the TV. After his sermon was over I immediately gave my life to Christ. He was a great example and he is very encouraging. I want to thank Billy Graham for changing my life forever. I will serve God until my last day.
In 1956, Billy Graham led a crusade in Calcutta, India. My teenage mom attended and accepted Jesus as Savior. Dr. Graham couldn’t have come at a better time; my mom’s mother was dying with breast cancer. My mom loved the Lord, a noted prayer warrior. Her influence is, in part, why I am a minister.
Dr. Graham was an amazing man who practiced what he preached and was a shining example to all. He always had a wonderful way of teaching the word of God. He was a man of great humility and a true inspiration to many all around the world as he brought people to Jesus, including myself.
I have grown up knowing the household name Billy Graham but have not read or listened to much of his sermons. It is funny how valuable they now are. As a preacher myself I plan to model after his sermons. I was a little saddened by the news of his passing. But thanks be to God he is in a better place.
The Preventive Gospel, 1987, Syracuse NY. Ecclesiastes 12. I first heard this about nine years ago. It changed the direction of my life forever. Thank You BG. I work with seriously ill adults & elderly and have seen this message firsthand. I use it every day in my ministry for young adults and the elderly.
At age 25 we heard the gospel of Jesus from a BGEA minister preparing for the 1981 Calgary crusade. As visitors, we sat in the back of the church. We were so moved by the truth we heard, we both asked Jesus to forgive us that day! God’s amazing grace changed our lives! Been sharing Jesus ever since!
I was called into deaf ministry at the crusade in Tempe AZ In the early ’70’s.
Billy Graham has certainly touched my life even though I never met him nor attended one of his crusades. I have followed him for many years though and donate monthly to the BGEA because I believe the gospel message is the most important message that needs to be heard around the world.
What can I say that hasn’t been heard? To God be all the glory; honor; praise; the gift that never stops giving; by Christ’s grace.
I have been praying for Rev. Billy Graham, his precious ministry and family for as long as I can remember. I would be so empty of Father God, Lord Jesus and His Sweet Holy Spirit w/o my daily walk in His Holy Word which the BGEA has continually inspired me. Thank you. Blessings and love, Carleen
