Do You Know Christ?
I was saddened to find out that Billy Graham had passed. He meant a lot to me and Mama. He was a great man of God. My love goes out to all in the family.
BGEA literature brought me to trust in Christ as my Savior thirty eight years ago. I read a tract called Always One More, The Master Plan for Marriage by Leighton Ford. I was a new wife and mother and the Lord changed my life. My husband recently passed away after forty four years of marriage.
There was not a crusade broadcast when I was a child that my daddy didn’t make us all sit and listen. I am grateful that we did. Now my husband & I enjoy hearing the sermons on XM radio via the Billy Graham channel. Mr. Graham was very much a part of my childhood & continues to inspire me today.
I sang with our church choir at one of Billy Graham’s meetings in Vancouver. Many years later my youngest daughter gave her heart to the Lord watching Mr. Graham’s TV programme. She phoned and told me “I just gave my heart to the Lord, watching Billy Graham.” He was so blessed!
My great-grandmother Jennie Hecht would babysit and made us 9 great-grandchildren listen to your broadcast in the 70s. I learned to know the saving grace thanks to her and watching Billy Graham and through mailings. Thank you for your ministry.
Evangelist Billy Graham left an everlasting impact on my life. I enjoyed watching the entire service on Saturday nights. I loved him for his boldness, his faithfulness, and how he especially was true to his call to the Lord Jesus Christ.
It was at the Chicago crusade in 1961 that I accepted Jesus, and I thank Mr. Graham for that. Now I will be in Heaven and I get to visit with Billy as well. I think I will be in Heaven real soon. I am near death now.
Billy Graham’s calm and humble boldness was a huge part of what gave me the courage to go into ministry, and an example of stamina and trust in God in evangelizing and discipling. It showed me that ‘waiting for the right time’ is never the answer – begin and God will provide the way. Thank you!!
I have many books written by Mr. Graham & have read them more than once. The two that help me the most right now since I am 70 1/2 is Angels & Hope For The Troubled Heart. I am very thankful I was able many times to hear Dr. Graham, in my life.
I along with so many others have been blessed to have heard you speak and give testimony that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, gave his life for our redemption. The simple truth that God loves us this much has touched and changed countless lives forever. Thank you.
